Born in London, Edgware, raised in Brighton in the 1970's Chris showed a passion for photography from a very early age. Through an apprenticeship with Brian Phipps, advertising photographer, at his studio in London, he branched out and worked as a freelance press photographer for national newspapers and magazines in London supplying photographs of fashion and portraiture. He spent the early 90's travelling the Far East photographing people in their environment, which led to exhibitions in London.

Now working as a full time professional photographer, in the North East of England, Chris is contracted by commercial business and enterprises, theartre companies, educational groups, and private commissions for wedding and portrait photography. He also dedicates time to further develop his skills and techniques in producing 'Art Photographs' for wall space in the home and office space.

Chris worked for National Newspapers, The Guardian, Mail on Sunday, The New York Times and Financial Times. Press Relation companies including clients for Vivienne Westwood, Levi Jeans, Jasper Conran, John Galliano, Bruce Oldfield.

Magazines and publishing companies EMAP, The Financial Times Group, Haymarket Publishing, Thompson Publishing. Clients in the financial Square Mile, City of London RSA, AL and The Round Table.

Chris also specializes in photographing Performing Arts, Dance, Theartre, Opera and dress rehearsals. Clients include The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and The Royal Shakespear Company in Stratford and London, The Glode Thearter.

Recent clients include CableCom, Orchid Markerting, Addesi PR, Publisity Seekers, Tees Valley Regeneration, Royal Northern College of Music, Plateform, Make A Wish Foundation, The Big Partnership EDF Energy. A Qualified member of The British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) and CRB Disclosure certified through the Cleveland Youth Association.
